This page sets out the limits of what Gerleu provides. It is short by design, and it is meant to be read before you rely on anything you find here.

Information, not trade

Gerleu is an information service. We publish articles, indicative figures, a deals watch list, a retailer directory, seasonal guidance and reporting for teams. We sell no goods. We take no part in any transaction between a reader and a seller, and we receive no commission when a reader buys from a retailer we describe.

No files or program code

We distribute no files, no program code and no content of any kind. Nothing on this site is offered to obtain or to set up, and we point readers toward no unofficial source. Every method we describe uses facilities that already ship with an operating system, and we describe them for understanding rather than as a service.

Indicative figures and availability

Storage figures, prices and availability are indicative and change often. A figure quoted here is a planning estimate drawn from observation at the time of writing, not a binding statement about any product. Always confirm a current requirement or price with the party that matters to you before you act on it.

No affiliation

Gerleu is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any publisher, developer, platform holder or retailer. Any names of third parties that occur in external contexts belong to their respective owners, and their mention implies no relationship of any kind. Where we describe a category of product, we do so in general terms and do not identify specific titles.

Accuracy and liability

We prepare our material with care, but we cannot promise that every figure, date or description is complete or current. Nothing here is professional advice for a particular situation. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on our content.
